Description
This course will provide students with the knowledge and procedures to coordinate shipboard helicopter operations on board Canadian Coast Guard Vessels.Learning Outcomes
- To provide participants with knowledge of the hazards inherent to shipboard helicopter operations.
- To enable participants to conduct helicopter operations safely and efficiently.
- To provide participants with knowledge about appropriate helicopter fueling procedures.

Please be advised that the OSSC daily course schedules are subject to change and all participants should be prepared for course deliveries outside normal business hours (i.e. evenings and weekends). You will be notified if any such change is necessary. In the event of inclement weather, students should visit www.mi.mun.ca for important announcements regarding class cancellations and rescheduling. Announcements regarding class cancellations will also be on local radio stations.If you are eligible to receive a T2202A for tax purposes, they will be available on Short Course Registration in February of the following year. Students are advised to log into your Destiny account in order to print a copy of your T2202A form.
