202019 - Confined Space Entry and Rescue Refresher
Description
This course is designed for participants to review confined space rescue techniques and equipment, to learn current practices, and to demonstrate competency in identified skill areas.Learning Outcomes
- Review the dangers and procedures associated with confined space entry and rescue.
- Review and demonstrate competency in using rope and confined space rescue equipment.
- Be introduced to current practices.

>Prerequisites should be provided to administration prior to course start date but students can bring the prerequisites along the morning of registration.Please dress for prevailing weather conditions.
Please be advised that the daily course schedules are subject to change and all participants should be prepared for course deliveries outside normal business hours (i.e. evenings and weekends). You will be notified if any such change is necessary. In the event of inclement weather, students should visit www.mi.mun.ca for important announcements regarding class cancellations and rescheduling. Announcements regarding class cancellations will also be on local radio stations.
If you are eligible to receive a T2202A for tax purposes, they will be available on Short Course Registration in February of the following year. Students are advised to log into your Destiny account in order to print a copy of your T2202A form.
