Description

This course is designed to provide personnel with the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills necessary to participate as members of a Fast Rescue Boat team.

Learning Outcomes

  • To provide the student with an understanding of the construction, maintenance, repair and outfitting of fast rescue boats.
  • To provide the student with the knowledge and skills to take charge of the equipment and appliance during launch and recovery from a trailer.
  • To provide the student with the knowledge and skills to take charge of a fast rescue boat, following trailering operations.
  • To provide the student with the knowledge and skills to take charge of fast rescue boat once waterborne.
  • To provide the student with the knowledge and skills to operate a fast rescue boat.
