Description
This is an entry level course designed to provide students with the information and the skills necessary to perform fire watch and prevention duties.Learning Outcomes
- To provide the student with an awareness of the fire hazards associated with industrial sites.
- To help the student to become familiar with the use of portable fire extinguishers and hand lines.

Please be advised that the daily course schedules are subject to change and all participants should be prepared for course deliveries outside normal business hours (i.e. evenings and weekends). You will be notified if any such change is necessary. In the event of inclement weather, students should visit www.mi.mun.ca for important announcements regarding class cancellations and rescheduling. Announcements regarding class cancellations will also be on local radio stations.If you are eligible to receive a T2202A for tax purposes, they will be available on Short Course Registration in February of the following year. Students are advised to log into your Destiny account in order to print a copy of your T2202A form.
