Description

This course is designed to provide designated personnel with theoretical and practical training that will enable them to take command of rigid and inflatable survival craft during abandonment.

Learning Outcomes

  • To provide students with a working knowledge of lifeboats and their associated launching systems.
  • To provide students with the opportunity to develop practical skills in the use of lifeboats and their associated launching systems.

Prerequisites

A current Medical Certificate as per CAPP's Atlantic Canada Medical Assessment for Fitness to Work Offshore Guide;

A valid Basic Survival Training (BST) or equivalent.
