Description

This course is designed to provide personnel who enter confined spaces with the knowledge necessary toidentify and control hazards such that they may work safely in a confined space environment. This course will meet the Confined Space training standard required by the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) 2013-0007.

Learning Outcomes

  • To enable students to recognize a confined space environment.
  • To enable students to identify and control hazards in a confined space environment.
  • To provide students with basic knowledge of confined space work permit system.
  • To provide students with a basic knowledge of reporting confined space accidents/incidents.
  • To familiarize students with basic confined space rescue planning.

*NOTE: Recertification required EVERY 3 YEARS.
