Description

This is an industry response course that will provide basic training in emergency response code of practice for personnel on industrial worksites. Focus will be on emergency readiness/response, fire extinguishers, personal protective equipment, WHMIS, transportation of dangerous goods and spill response.

Learning Outcomes

  • To provide basic training in emergency response for personnel on industrial worksites.
  • To provide awareness and competencies in the response to emergencies including fire, chemical and/or oil spills, and emergencies involving casualties.
