Description

This course has been developed for small boat operators within the aquaculture industry. It will give them an overview of what a hydraulic system is, the principles of hydraulic power and how critical maintenance is to the system.

Learning Outcomes

To enable the participant to:
  • Develop a fundamental knowledge of hydraulics
  • Gain familiarity with all components that comprise a typical hydraulic system
  • Recognize the need for regular and preventative maintenance on a hydraulic system
  • Carry out regular and preventative maintenance on a hydraulic system
