This three day Certificate of Participation is an introductory course designed to provide participants with basic skills and knowledge in the construction and repair of char nets. It has been developed at the request of, and in consultation with, the Nunatsiavut Government.

Learning Outcomes

This course will develop the participants' ability to:

  • Understand the fundamental principles of char net mending and repair.
  • Demonstrate basic techniques for mending and repairing char nets.
  • Discuss the basic construction and design of char nets.
