This course is designed to give workers/participants the basic knowledge and understanding of the feeds and feeding of cultured salmonids.

Learning Outcomes

To enable workers/participants to gain:
  • An outline of the principles involving the use of feeds in fish farming
  • An understanding of the implications of inappropriate feeding
  • The ability to handle and store fish feeds correctly
  • The ability to control and monitor the effective use of fish feeds
