Description

This course is designed to enable employees from the NALCOR - Soldiers Pond facility to initiate defensive firefighting techniques while awaiting response from the fire department. Participants will understand the role of a fire team member in controlling an exterior fire in the early stages and to demonstrate the practical aspects of fire control and suppression. This course is designed considering the requirements outlined in the NFPA 600, 2015 edition, Standard for Facility Fire Brigade.
