Description

This course is designed to provide the qualified diver with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to undertake the role of HUET diver.

Learning Outcomes

This course will develop the participants’ ability to:
  • Recognize and respond to HUET training emergency situations.
  • Understand their role in the training and safety of HUET course participants.

Prerequisites

Workplace NL recognized certificate of medical fitness to dive;
MI recognized diver certification;
Open water SCUBA certification with minimum of 24 logged open water dives and 10 hrs bottom time;
Current First Aid, CPR and O2 certification
