Description

This course is a continuation of the Emergency Towing Operations course and provides students with an opportunity to practice emergency towing operations and techniques in a simulated environment. Of particular importance is the ability to adjust operations based on the changing environment.

Learning Outcomes

  • Provide students with the opportunity to develop and carry out, in a simulated environment, the communications and operations required to address an emergency towing situation.
  • Provide students with the opportunity to practice ship handling skills required during emergency towing operations.
  • Provide students with an opportunity to practice teamwork and leadership skills.
