Description

This course is designed to provide students with Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) and a theoretical and practical understanding of the compressed air Helicopter Underwater Emergency Breathing Apparatus (HUEBA) in use in the Atlantic Canada offshore petroleum industry.

Learning Outcomes

  • To provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to react to in-flight emergencies
  • To provide Helicopter Underwater Escape training
  • To provide a theoretical and practical understanding of the compressed air Helicopter Underwater Emergency Breathing Apparatus in use in the Atlantic Canada offshore petroleum industry
