Description

The purpose of this preparatory course is to provide an in-depth analysis of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea with Canadian Modifications, 1983 that will allow participants to apply the rules in practical situations. In addition, an examination of the principles to be observed when carrying out a navigational watch as outlined in the STCW Code and bridge teamwork procedures will be provided.

A preparatory course does not replace the official Transport Canada exams; rather, it supports your learning, helps you understand the required subject matter, and prepares you to meet Transport Canada’s standards and expectations.

Please note that the official certification examination must still be written directly with Transport Canada.
