Description

This preparatory course is specifically directed towards fishing vessel operators and deals with the Canada Shipping Act and pursuant regulations and application of prudent seamanship techniques as it applies to fishing vessels and their crews at sea.

A preparatory course does not replace the official Transport Canada exams; rather, it supports your learning, helps you understand the required subject matter, and prepares you to meet Transport Canada’s standards and expectations.

Please note that the official certification examination must still be written directly with Transport Canada.
