Description

This course is designed to enable students to broaden their knowledge and understanding of the regulatory requirements of all aspects of both land-based and sea/lake-based farming of salmonids within Newfoundland and Labrador.

Learning Outcomes

To enable the student to gain a broader, more complete understanding of their responsibilities with respect to protecting:

  • Their stock, wild fish, and the broader environment
  • The public from harm caused by the farmed products or farming operations
  • Site workers from harm
