Description

This course is designed for bridge officers and provides practical experiences in the handling of vessels in offshore operations. The course will provide theory and simulator experience covering offshore ship maneuvering.

Learning Outcomes

  • Provide students with knowledge and skills in planning and risk assessment of offshore ship maneuvering.
  • Offer practical experience in maneuvering an offshore vessel during machinery failures and changing environmental conditions.
  • Provide experience in planning and executing offshore operations.
  • Develop teamwork and communication skills.
