Description

This course is designed to provide the crew and management of the client vessel with some non-technical skills in human factors to assist them risk management as the vessel will be operated by private personnel with input from military staff onboard and in a fleet as well.

Learning Outcomes

To enable students to:

  • Effectively manage risk onboard this specific vessel "MV Asterix".
  • Effectively manage shipboard personnel.
  • Effectively manage workload, stress and fatigue in this complex and unique environment.
  • Effectively manage all resources available to them onboard the vessel MV Asterix.
  • Carry out effective decision making.
  • Bridge gaps identified between civilian and naval operations.
