Description

This course will enable the participant to identify and safely use the proper equipment for fall protection in the workplace. This course has been designed to meet the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) Guidelines for Fall Protection Training.

Learning Outcomes

  • To provide the student with a basic knowledge of fall protection and fall arrest systems.
  • To enable students to inspect and don a fall protection harness.
  • To enable students to inspect fall arrest systems.
  • To familiarize students with basic rescue considerations.
